A QEST Scholarship supported Jessie during her MA in Ceramics at the Royal College of Art 2002-4, where she learnt print-making skills, printing onto large format tiles and paper. Over subsequent years her practice has evolved and her work encompasses screen-printing, painting, collage and more recently constructed textiles working with thread, dowel and cane.
All of Jessie’s work explores colour, line, pattern and a love of materials. Jessie works with minimal, abstract elements, building layers and composition, exploring repetition, contrast and variation to give flow and rhythm to her work.
